Keynote Speaker - Father Gregory Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries and author of Tattoos on the Heart - The Power of Boundless Compassion 

Father Greg has mentored hundreds at risk and gang involved youths for over 25 years. Working as a pastor in the Los Angeles neighborhood with the highest concentration of violent gang activity, Fr. Greg was inspired to start a modest training program in 1992. Homeboy Bakery was an effort to engage young people in a rewarding alternative to dangerous street life, provide valuable work experience, and extend a challenging opportunity to work side by side with rival gang members.

Fr. Greg's best seller, Tattoos on the Heart, was named one of the best books of 2010 by Publisher's Weekly. We are eagerly looking forward to hearing some of his stories, and meeting this remarkable man. Hope you can join us!!
